MKE Week 16… How Incredibly Fortunate Are We? To Be Kind!

The Law of Giving and Receiving is simple…:

If you want love, learn to give love, if you want attention and appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation, if you want material affluence, help others to become materially affluent. If you want to be blessed with all the good things in life, learn to silently bless everyone with all the good things in life. The more you give, the more you will receive. In your willingness to give that which you seek, you will keep the abundance of the universe circulating in your life. “Deepak Chopra”

How often in our lives do we veer too much to one way of thinking or another…extremes? I know I do!   Often, we push ourselves so hard that we forget to take time to enjoy the journey.  I think this often leads to stress, sleeplessness, anxiety, and an overall lack of balance.

Our journey should be more than what we get, but what we give.

What I love about this week’s exercise is that we get to be selfless and do random acts of kindness. It’s never hard to give. It’s interesting because others are uniquely drawn to those who selflessly give of themselves. My family always say love you before they leave us. In return without question, we say love you back.

Those who love and give generously of themselves find a type of fulfillment that extends beyond position, title, or structure. They live in a space that reaches into the heart and soul of others when so many people feel unloved, lonely, scared or living in a moment of fear.

Giving to others is what spiritual abundance is about. I believe that abundance comes in many shapes and forms. This is what opens the door for growth.  This teaches us to live by the Law of Growth.  It is purposeful and everything that comes to us isn’t something we earn, but a gift freely given by the universe, which means it comes from a deep awareness of what we need.

Our circumstances don’t define us, they represent our uniqueness. WE are not defined by what we gather in our life (possessions), but how we deal with what we have. If we look around us and see the people that give the most, they are the most abundant.

When we give selflessly of ourselves, this answers the call of the cosmos. We have the capacity to make our human experience be all it can be.
